BRINTON, Mary (Polly) - Putnam

Aunt Polly Brinton, aged 92, was severely burned a short time ago, her clothing taking fire in the absence of the family. It is thought she will not recover.

Mrs. Mary Brinton, aged 91 years, died Monday night of a burn which she received while sitting by the fire. She has lived in Jefferson township 52 years and was a widow 47 years. She was the mother of 11 children, 6 of whom are living. She had 38 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren, making in all a total of 110. She was a member of the M. E. church for over 50 years. The farm on which she lived had never been transfered but once--from the government to Bryant Brinton, her husband. -- Cloverdale Herald.
